Executive Producer
Henrietta is an Elder of the Gimuy Walubara clan of the Yidinji people, Traditional Custodians of the lands on which the city of Cairns and southern suburbs is located. Henrietta’s involvement with Australia’s Indigenous arts and academia is highly regarded, with distinguished career achievements in education, environment and government law, as well as bio- cultural diversity, Indigenous rights and traditional ecology.
Rhoda Roberts AO
Director and Co-Writer
A Widjubul woman from the Bundjalung territories, Rhoda Roberts AO is currently Head of First Nations Programming, Sydney Opera House, Festival Director, Boomerang Festival and Creative Director Parrtjima Festival (NT). An experienced, motivated and versatile arts executive, with a diverse range of international and national industry practice within commercial, community and non-profit organisations.
Shaun Miller
Executive Producer
Shaun has specialised in film and entertainment law for over 20 years, and also has a background working in film distribution and exhibition via Sharmill Films and Cinema Nova.
Susie Montague
Executive Producer
Susie Montague is a Melbourne based film producer, businesswoman and philan-thropist. She produced the Indy hit, Pawno, which won the grand jury prize for best picture at the Cannes Cinema des Antipodes in 2016.
Julie Nihill
Co-Writer and Producer
Julie is Founder/CEO of the International Institute for Eradicating Racism, working across a suite of film and documentary projects, alongside education and advocacy work. She has 30 years award - winning experience in the Australian film and television industry, and holds degrees in science and education.
Carl Fourmile
Associate Producer and Cultural Consultant
Minjil means “spark from a fire.”Fire is very important in Aboriginal culture as it brings people and communities together. Artistic Director of Minjil and company owner, Carl Fourmile is a Yidinji man from the land of Gimuy in Far North Queensland (QLD).
